AIM: What is the sketchbook project? How can we mimic this project in our class?

DO NOW: Ten minute silent drawing - continuing with our pepper.

Today's Activities:

Today we will discuss the different functions of a sketchbook and look as some ways that sketchbooks are treated. The first thing we are going to do in this class is make sure we have a sketchbook that we want to use. That we want to keep with us and that inspires us to be creative and work towards mastery.

Let's take a minute and look at one example of how sketchbooks are used in The Brooklyn Museum's Sketchbook Project.
